Carmines and Virgil's Real BBQ in Times Square is seeking an experienced bartender to run a busy bar, delivering signature cocktails with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have strong bar experience, knowledge of Italian wines and spirits, and can work well under pressure in a high-volume setting. You will greet guests, take orders, ensure accurate cash handling, and collaborate with servers.

Qualifications

• Experience as bartender in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
• Professional, personable, organized with a sense of humor and strong hospitality.
• Excellent service orientation and ability to work at peak times.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexible to work various shifts.
• Knowledge of fine wine & spirits.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests, take orders, and serve cocktails with enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Deliver exceptional service, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all bar patrons.
• Act as Brand Ambassador by sharing information about Carmine’s and Virgil’s locations and events.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile at end of shift.
• Support servers by assisting with table orders during busy times.
• Follow beverage recipes precisely for bar and dining room service.
• Complete side work and closing duties.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
