Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma in Fife, WA is seeking an experienced Automotive Reconditioning Technician to join a high-volume pre-owned vehicle operation. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to front-line readiness, in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of automotive repair, strong diagnostics, and a commitment to quality. Mercedes-Benz experience is a plus but not required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of automotive repair or service experience.
• Flat-rate experience preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Mercedes-Benz experience is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate dealership vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition incoming pre-owned vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform maintenance and required reconditioning repairs
• Complete safety and quality inspections
• Identify needed repairs and document findings
• Prepare vehicles to meet dealership standards for front-line readiness
• Work efficiently in a flat-rate, production-focused environment
• Coordinate with parts and reconditioning team to keep vehicles moving
