Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of Tacoma in Fife, WA, is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician for our high-volume Service Department. We offer an established customer base, factory training, OEM equipment, and a strong support team to keep work moving.

Qualifications

1+ year of professional automotive repair experience
Flat-rate technician experience preferred
Dealership or high-volume automotive repair experience preferred
Mercedes-Benz or European automotive experience is a plus, but not required
ASE certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
Perform routine maintenance through advanced automotive repairs
Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, electrical, and other repairs based on experience and certification level
Use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment and OEM repair procedures
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently in a flat-rate environment
Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommendations clearly
Perform inspections and verify completed repairs
Work closely with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow dealership, manufacturer, and workplace safety procedures
