Job summary

Optim Recruiting in California is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to support a busy AP desk in a manufacturing environment. You will report to the Accounting Manager and help a close-knit team keep invoices moving and processes running smoothly.

The role focuses on high-volume processing, three-way matching, and timely payments, with an immediate start on Monday, November 9. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in a collaborative setting with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AP experience in a high-volume environment.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders.
• Experience reviewing and reconciling vendor statements.
• Ability to learn a process quickly with minimal hand-holding.
• Friendly, easy to work with and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Processing a high volume of vendor invoices against purchase orders.
• Three-way matching of POs, receiving documents and invoices, and resolving discrepancies.
• Reviewing vendor statements and reconciling them to the AP ledger.
• Following up with vendors and internal teams to keep payments on schedule.
