Job summary

The Hilcorp Alaska Central Power Station (CPS) in Prudhoe Bay invites applications for a Transmission and Distribution Lineman/Standby Power Plant Operator. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Desirable experience in electrical utilities in arctic conditions.
• Current Alaska Dept. of Labor Certificate of Fitness, Electrician Journeyman is preferred.
• Able to work a 12-hour rotating schedule and be on standby for callouts.

Responsibilities

• Work with high voltage substation T&D technicians and linemen on medium/low voltage equipment.
• Perform preventative and electrical maintenance for CPS and EOA Power Plants.
• Operate man lifts and heavy equipment as required.
• Adhere to safety rules and Hilcorp Alaska environmental and safety policies.
• Participate in development and review of procedures.
