Job summary

Staffing Solutions Enterprises is seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team focusing on high voltage substations and CAD. You will design and layout substation components using AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D, develop models, generate BOMs, and manage CAD files while collaborating with engineers and vendors.

The role requires foundational design skills, a passion for learning, and familiarity with Autodesk tools. Hybrid work is available, with a strong growth trajectory in the utility sector.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, Inventor 3D, and Vault preferred.
• Understanding of electrical and substation design principles.
• Strong communication skills—verbal and written.
• Problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Fundamental understanding of geometry and mathematics.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout electrical substations using AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D.
• Develop 3D models and assemblies.
• Generate material lists and assembly drawings.
• Maintain and organize CAD files with Autodesk Vault.
• Adhere to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and manufacturers.
• Support ongoing project documentation and updates.
