Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CA driver’s license.
• IBEW Local 1245 represented role; collective bargaining applies.

Responsibilities

• Complete documentation and test reports to meet regulatory standards.
• Perform electrical power switching.
• Test, troubleshoot, and configure remote control/data acquisition systems (SCADA/EMS).
• Plan and schedule work; submit clearance applications to Operations Control Center.
• Test and commission switchgear and network relays; guide apprentices and possibly electricians.
• Program, install, calibrate, test and maintain protective relays and control systems.
• Maintain engineering drawings and documents; lift and install tools/equipment up to 100 pounds.
