Job summary

Shermco Industries seeks a NETA Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on HV electrical systems at customer sites. You may travel regionally and overnight as needed and perform start-up and calibration tasks.

The role requires related education, NETA certification, and strong PC skills; candidates should be able to lift up to 75 lbs and pass background and drug checks. A valid license and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment hair follicle drug test and periodic random tests.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be physically fit to crawl, climb, stand, walk and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must have valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Must be willing to travel; minimum 40%.
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites locally/regionally, with periodic overnight travel.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on low, medium and high voltage systems.
• Test and calibrate relays, switchgear, and metering equipment; assist start-up activities.
• Maintain safety procedures and document results for clients.
