Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a High Voltage Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of high-voltage testing equipment in Bethel, CT. This hands-on role requires independent work at customer sites across the continental U.S.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in field service, with expertise in high-voltage equipment, PLCs, power electronics, and strong customer communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in field service, testing, or related engineering.
• Familiar with high-voltage test equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of PLC and microprocessor-based industrial controls.
• Understanding of power electronics and troubleshooting.
• Strong independent work and multi-project management.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
• FE or PE license plus Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission high-voltage test systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems to PCB level.
• Diagnose power electronics and industrial controls issues.
• Provide technical support by phone and email.
• Assist with onsite power-system testing.
• Document activity and communicate with customers and teams.
