Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a hands-on HV field service professional based in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role focuses on installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of High Voltage equipment at substations, utilities and industrial facilities in the Western United States.

You will work at live customer sites with safety and regulatory compliance at the forefront. Requires a technical certificate in electrical/mechanical fields and a bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical

Qualifications

• Technical certificate in electrical or mechanical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience with High Voltage substations and field assignments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair High Voltage equipment at customer sites across the Western United States.
• Perform field service activities including installation, commissioning, testing and repair of HV equipment.
• Document test results and service reports with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate field activities with crews and customers to ensure safe operations.
