Job summary

Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role focuses on supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of High Voltage equipment across the Western United States. The engineer will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and develop service reports while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have work authorization in the US to work for Hitachi Energy.
• Experience in High Voltage substations and equipment field assignments is preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively and coordinate field activities.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of High Voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve operating problems.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with regulations.
