Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a High Voltage Electrician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical electrical systems in a secure government environment near Bethesda, MD.

The role requires an active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly, a Master or Journeyman Electrician license, 8+ years of HV experience, and the ability to read complex schematics and diagrams; perform maintenance per NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a high-voltage electrician in industrial, utility, government, or mission-critical environments.
• Active Top Secret SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• HV experience with substations, medium- and high-voltage switchgear, and power distribution equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot high-voltage systems (typically 4,160V and above).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mission-critical HV infrastructure.
• Follow NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and applicable DoD/IC standards.
