Job summary

IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, seeks a High Voltage Electrician to install, operate, and maintain mission-critical electrical systems in a secure environment supporting DoD/IC missions across Virginia and Maryland.

Requires 8+ years HV electrician experience, Master or Journeyman license, and Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI Poly; duties include compliance with NEC/NFPA 70E and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a high-voltage electrician in industrial, government, or mission-critical environments.
• Active Master or Journeyman Electrician license (state-recognized).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-voltage electrical systems (typically 4,160V+) including switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, and distribution networks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous operation of electrical infrastructure.
• Interpret complex electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conduct testing, inspections, and diagnostics per NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA, and DoD/IC standards.
• Coordinate outages, outages responses, and restoration with minimal operational impact.
