Electric Machinery Company, a division of WEG Electric Corp., in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an Electrical Tester (High Voltage) for the 1st shift to join the Quality Team. You will set up, test and adjust items such as motors and high‑voltage equipment, read specs and drawings, and prepare data sheets and reports for internal and external customers.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong teamwork, good communication, and adherence to ISO 9001 and OSHA standards; benefits include

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced certificate/degree in related field desired.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and is self-motivated.
• Must be able to work with a team and independently; good oral and written communications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and adjust test items such as motors, generators, control equipment and power apparatus to meet specifications.
• Read information from production orders, engineering data sheets, process specs and drawings.
• Prepare data sheets, test plans and reports for internal and external customers.
• Use testing apparatus and measure instruments to collect, analyze data for compliance.
