Job summary

Suzano is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer - High Voltage to lead capital projects sustaining electrical infrastructure at our paper mill. The role is hands-on with project execution, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure reliability and long‑term asset sustainability.

You will work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to manage spares, drive system optimization, and ensure safety and performance standards across the mill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in pulp & paper, chemical, or oil & gas industries.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and manage electrical improvement projects (power distribution, drives upgrades, machine room equipment).
• Address ongoing electrical issues and identify critical spares for continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and interface with contractors to execute capital projects.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
• Monitor electrical parameters and identify opportunities for system optimization.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs to equipment and utilities.
• Ensure electrical systems meet safety, reliability, and performance standards across the mill.
