Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Project Engineer to provide expertise in high voltage cable systems installation, applications, performance characteristics, and testing for HV/EHV products. The role involves working with customers, sales, and internal teams to ensure technically sound cable system installations and compliant documentation.

Responsibilities include defining installation requirements, reviewing specs, and supporting pricing with technical data.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering of power cables or related utility equipment.
• AutoCAD or similar design/drafting software knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engineering and non-engineering audiences.
• Experience working in highly skilled teams and cross-functional collaboration.
• P.E. Registration and NCEES certification highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and sales to define cable installation requirements.
• Solve problems and develop expertise in HV/EHV products and systems.
• Review specifications and prepare technical data for costing and pricing.
• Select products to design high-quality HV/EHV cable system installations.
• Provide field service at customer locations regarding product quality and installation.
• Support sales, manufacturing, and project teams with technical expertise.
