Job summary

PYP in California seeks a High Value Parts Supervisor to oversee high-value inventory identification, extraction, and logistics. This hands-on role blends administrative precision with mechanical aptitude and team leadership to ensure accurate documentation and organized storage.

The ideal candidate will drive daily parts pulls, manage shipping docs, and lead the team to meet safety and performance targets in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or automotive/parts salvage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital inventory systems.
• Hands-on mechanical ability with basic hand tools (wrenches, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; professional email etiquette.
• Natural team leader with accountability and organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement daily strategy for pulling high-value cores and parts.
• Verify parts pulled per daily schedule; ensure organization and secure storage.
• Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and manage shipping documentation.
• Coordinate pickup/delivery dates with freight carriers and vendors.
• Enter daily production and inventory results into the system accurately.
• Lead the pulling team to meet daily targets and provide clear directions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and enforce PPE/OSHA/EPA rules.
