Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Biology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology or related field.
  • 3–5 years in academic/biopharma research OR MS with 0–3 years.
  • Proficiency in molecular biology: in vitro transcription, RNA analysis, and cell-based assays.
  • Mammalian cell culture experience and aseptic technique.
  • Ability to design, execute, analyze experiments and present data.
  • Strong attention to detail; commitment to documentation standards.
  • Collaborative, fast-paced team orientation; strong written/verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and GraphPad Prism.

Responsibilities

  • Perform RNA synthesis, characterization, and analytical assessments for preclinical evaluation.
  • Design, execute, and troubleshoot cell-based assays to evaluate in vitro expression.
  • Support development of Hamilton STAR methods (translate manual workflows into automation-compatible, high-throughput methods).
  • Operate Hamilton STAR liquid handling platforms for automated screening.
  • Independently collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize experimental data.
  • Communicate results and progress updates to team members and senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of reagents and biological samples.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and reporting per SOPs and Pfizer Laboratory Notebook Policy.
