Job summary

Ball Corporation in Monticello, Minnesota is seeking a Production Technician to join the manufacturing/operations team on the shop floor. You will observe SOPs, operate and adjust high-speed production equipment, and contribute to equipment maintenance while ensuring quality standards for aluminium products.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of mechanical experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

PositionOverview:

As a Production Technician ,you’rea member of a production crew, reporting toa supervisor of an assigned production area.You will contribute to the success of Ball byobservingoperating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.

YourKeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

• Starting Hourly Rate:$32.40
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
