Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks a Production Technician in Rome, GA, to join the Manufacturing/Operations team. The role focuses on operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed production equipment, following 5S standards and SOPs under supervision.

Required are a high school diploma and at least 1 year of mechanical experience with troubleshooting, plus proficiency with hand and power tools. 2+ years in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
