Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a production line operator to operate and monitor one or more lines, move materials, and ensure product quality and safety. You will perform changeovers, inspect products, and troubleshoot to keep lines running efficiently.

The role requires lifting 20–45 pounds repeatedly, standing for long periods, and potential weekend/holiday work. Prior experience with packaging, fillers, and palletizers is preferred, along with GMP knowledge and strong housekeeping.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Experience with high speed production lines.
• Experience with pallets and forklifts.
• Experience operating packing, filler, and palletizer equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schedules.
• Experience with GMP in a food/ beverage setting.
• Experience with basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience using manufacturing computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
• Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow.
• Ensure package and product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift.
• Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices.
• Expedite repairs to line with maintenance as necessary.
• Keep daily records of down time and machine operations.
• Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
