Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a production operator to operate and monitor multiple lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor. The role involves material handling, line changeovers, and adherence to GMP and sanitation standards.

The position requires physical stamina for lifting 20–45 lb cases, frequent standing, and possible weekend/holiday shifts. Candidates should have experience with high-speed lines and packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience on high-speed production lines or fast-paced environments.
• Experience with pallets and forklift operations.
• Experience operating packaging, filling, capping, sealing, labeling, or related equipment.
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding production flow.
• Experience with computer-based manufacturing controls and line speeds.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and sanitation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
• Move materials and finished products to maintain flow.
• Ensure package and product quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and work area before, during, and after shifts.
• Maintain a clean work area through housekeeping practices.
• Expedite repairs with maintenance as needed.
• Keep daily downtime and line operation records.
• Work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
