Job summary

Sheridan Ohio, part of the Sheridan Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the day shift (7a–7p). The role involves setting up and operating high-speed bindery equipment, training crew members, and ensuring quality and efficiency on a fast-paced production floor in Ohio.

Overtime opportunities are available, with comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, able to read measurements, and capable of leading a small crew while maintaining

Qualifications

• Mechanical and organizational skills required.
• Able to read decimals, sizes, and measurements.
• Must be a team player with leadership ability.
• Physical ability to lift 30–100 lbs.
• Good attendance, punctuality and reliability.
• Experience in bindery or printing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee performance and training of crew.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate tasks to crew members.
• Customize orders per specifications.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete related paperwork.
• May handle hazardous waste as part of daily duties.
• Other duties assigned by management.
