Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery to operate and maintain high-speed bindery equipment, starting 7a–7p on a full-time daytime shift. You will train and supervise crew members, ensure quality output, and handle production paperwork in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on machine operation, teamwork, reliability, and growth within a long-term print manufacturing career, with opportunities for overtime and benefits after initial onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and basic tool use.
• Able to read decimals and measurements accurately.
• Good mathematical skills for basic calculations.
• Team player with the ability to lead and direct crew.
• Physically capable of loading bundles from 30–100 lbs.
• Excellent attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, operation, and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee work performance and train assigned crew members.
• Train Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/assign duties to crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete related paperwork and forms.
• Handle hazardous waste as part of daily duties.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
