Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for a day shift (7a–7p), full-time, with competitive pay and overtime opportunities. The role focuses on operating high-speed bindery equipment, leading crew members, and ensuring quality while training others.

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced print manufacturing environment. You will work on setting up the Perfect Binder, oversee training of crew, and ensure safety and accuracy across production processes.

Qualifications

• Must have good mechanical and organizational skills.
• Must be a team player with ability to lead and direct crew.
• Physically able to load bundles from 30 to 100 lbs.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality are prerequisites.
• 3–5 years machine operating experience.
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience.
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all set up operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee the work performance and training of assigned crew members.
• Training of Assistant Operator and other crew members.
• Delegate/Assign work duties to assigned crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete processes related to paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as a part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
