Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for a day-time shift (7a–7p). This full-time role involves operating high-speed bindery equipment, performing setup and routine maintenance, and training crew members on a fast-paced production floor.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years machine operating experience
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Basic small packaging knowledge
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform all set up operation and maintenance of the Perfect Binder.
• Oversee the work performance and training of assigned crew members
• Training of Assistant Operator and other crew members
• Delegate/Assign work duties to assigned crew members.
• Customize orders to specifications/requirements.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards.
• Complete processes related to paperwork and forms.
• May handle hazardous waste as a part of daily job functions.
• Other duties assigned by management.
