Job summary

Edinburg CISD is seeking a Tutorial Facilitator to supervise and implement the district's High School Tutorial Assistance Program for students in grades 9–12. The facilitator reports to the Principal and Dean of Instruction and ensures that tutorial programs meet student needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating tutors, planning schedules, and reporting program data while maintaining a flexible schedule that includes Saturdays and after-school hours.

Qualifications

• TEA certification requirements for secondary teaching in one of: ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies or Principal/Mid-Management certification.
• At least 3 years of successful teaching experience.
• Ability to work with administrators, students, and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Report to work early and stay later around the start and end of the school year.
• Plan and schedule tutorial assignments with teachers, principals, and program coordinator.
• Supervise after-school and Saturday tutorial sessions funded by ESSER grants.
• Assign college tutors funded by Federal Programs.
• Schedule in-service and training activities for teachers and college tutors.
• Document and report names of students served by the tutorial program.
• Prepare timesheets for teachers and tutors and submit payroll for approval.
• Screen and select tutors and coordinate with the Dean of Instruction on assignments.
