Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment are required.
• Or an associate degree or higher from a PSC-approved college with a GPA of 2.0+.
• Or 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with a 2.0+ GPA and a PSC paraprofessional certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in meeting educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs in classroom and community.
• Provides small group or one-on-one instruction per lesson plans.
• Assists with health-related care needs aligned to IEP requirements and district guidelines.
• Assists with data collection, progress monitoring, and recordkeeping under supervision.
• Maintains a safe, structured learning environment and supports behavior management.
• Participates in required training and professional learning.
