Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required.
• Alternative: associate degree or higher from PSC-approved institution.
• Alternative: 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours with GPA 2.0+.
• A valid PSC-approved paraprofessional certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in meeting educational, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Provides small group or one-on-one instruction per lesson plans.
• Assists with classroom management and data collection.
• Implements accommodations and modifications per IEPs.
• Maintains confidentiality of student records (FERPA).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
