Job summary

The DeKalb County School District is seeking a Title I Paraprofessional for Towers High School for a one-year assignment funded through Title I. The position ends on or before June 30, 2027, with possible continuation upon new position availability for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Requires 60 college hours with GPA 2.0+ from an accredited college or university.
• High school diploma/GED with passing GACE Paraprofessional Assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Provides small group and/or individualized instruction to students.
• Assists teachers with classroom management to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Assists teachers with assessment of student performance and recordkeeping tasks.
• Assists teachers with development and organization of instructional materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
