Zusammenfassung

CAMBA is seeking an Advocate Counselor at Judith S. Kaye High School in New York City to support students ages 15–21.

You will conduct intake, assess needs, document progress, and connect youth with community resources and CAMBA services to help them achieve graduation and life goals. The role requires a Bachelor's in social work or related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to work within CAMBA’s program framework.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; applicable experience.
• Ability to write assessments, goals, progress notes, weekly reports, and general correspondence.
• Ability to adapt to the culture and environment of a public school.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, internet and database software.
• Bi-lingual preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain professional relationships with students and confidentiality.
• Conduct intake and assessment of students/families and identify needs.
• Create and maintain student files and track attendance.
• Refer students to community resources and CAMBA services.
• Enter data into Enginuity and generate narrative case notes.
• Keep monthly activity reports and assist with weekly/monthly/annual reports.
• May facilitate workshops and assist families in obtaining health services.
