Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking dedicated Special Education teachers to support high school students with ASD in Michigan for the 2026-2027 school year. This on-site contract requires 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar from late August to early June.

Candidates must hold a valid Michigan SPED license and have experience planning IEPs, adapting instruction, and collaborating with families, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive, engaging classrooms.

Qualifications

• Licensed to teach Special Education in Michigan; verification required.
• Experience as SPED teacher, preferably in high school or ASD.
• Knowledge of IEPs and diverse learning strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and teams.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based instruction to high school students with ASD.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with regulations.
• Modify curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administration.
• Maintain records, provide progress reports, and communicate with parents.
