Job summary

North Allegheny School District seeks a Special Education Assistant for North Allegheny Intermediate High School, effective October 5, 2026. Qualifications

• Minimum 48 college credits or an Associate's Degree, or completion of ParaPro.
• Current clearances (Child Abuse History, PA Criminal Record Check) and Mandated Reporter training.
• Pre-employment physical and TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to identified students in regular and special education environments.
• Collaborate with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education and Regular Education teachers.
• Assist with academic, emotional, social, behavioral and physical support.
