Job summary

Qualifications

• MA License for Moderate Disabilities 5-12
• Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required
• Experience with inclusion and de-escalation strategies
• Superior interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders
• Restraint training preferred and may be required

Responsibilities

• Design units and lessons aligned to MA standards and Hampshire curriculum
• Coordinate and supervise programming and services for grades 7-12 under IEPs
• Plan interventions and implement effective instructional strategies
• Gather data, monitor progress, write quarterly reports and year-end evaluations
• Collaborate with parents, administrators, testing team, and social workers
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff about student progress
• Lead IEP team meetings and participate in professional development
• Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements for students with disabilities
