Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in special education or related field.
• Principal certificate required for eligibility.
• Special Education Teaching Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates high school special education services on the campus.
• Assists in supervising special education teachers and paraprofessionals.
• Develops schedules for special education staff and ARD meetings.
• Plans professional learning for general education personnel as requested by principals.
• Schedules ARDs and counsels with parents of students in special education.
• Collaborates with general education staff to support student success.
• Monitors compliance with federal, state, and local requirements for SPED paperwork.
