Job summary

The State of Connecticut is hiring a THS Special Education Instructor at E.C Goodwin Technical High School in New Britain. The role focuses on educating students with and without disabilities and managing casework to support individualized learning plans.

Applicants must hold an active CT teaching certificate in the listed areas or be eligible for CT certification. The position is full-time and follows the CTECS academic calendar with 188 days per year.

Qualifications

• Active CT teaching certificate in one of the listed areas.
• OR eligible for CT teaching certificate in subject area (ARC candidates).
• Experience in high school setting (9-12) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate students with and without disabilities and manage cases for students with disabilities.
• Differentiate instruction and employ assistive technology across disciplines.
• Collaborate with content area teachers to ensure equity and support self-advocacy.
