The State of Connecticut, through CTECS at H.C. Wilcox Technical High School in Meriden, seeks a THS Special Education Instructor to educate students with diverse needs and manage casework.

You will apply differentiated instruction, collaborate with content area teachers, and design transition planning within a supportive, equity-focused environment. Qualifications

• Active CT teaching certificate for Special Education PK–12 or 165/265.
• Experience delivering services and case management to high school students.
• Ability to use varied assessments to inform instruction.

Responsibilities

• Educate students with and without disabilities using differentiated strategies.
• Collaborate with content area teachers to ensure equity and access.
• Conduct and design transition needs assessments.
• Engage in parent and community outreach and professional learning.
