Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist the teacher in devising strategies based on individual needs.
• Support the generalization of skills in an integrated setting.
• Demonstrate effective communication and collaborative skills.
• Support PBIS for all students in all settings.
• Operate and care for classroom equipment used for instruction.
• Distribute and collect materials for instruction.
• Assist with supervision during drills, assemblies, field trips and activities.
• Read to students and participate in oral reading activities.
• Assist with lunch, snack, and cleanup routines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
