Ampersand Therapy is seeking a full-time Collaborative Special Education Teacher for a high school setting in Anniston, AL. You’ll provide IEP-driven instruction and support for grades 9–12 and collaborate with general education teachers in inclusive classrooms.

The role requires Alabama Collaborative Special Education Teacher 6–12 certification and a Bachelor's in Special Education, with strong knowledge of IEP processes and assessment. W-2 employment includes benefits and licensure support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Hold or be eligible for Alabama Collaborative Special Education Teacher 6–12 certification.
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, IEP-driven instruction and support for students in Grades 9–12.
• Collaborate and co-teach with general education teachers in inclusive classrooms.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
