Job summary

Cross Country Education is hiring a High School Special Education Math Teacher in Cambridge, MA. You will provide specialized math instruction to students with disabilities and adapt curricula to meet diverse needs.

You will develop and monitor IEPs with measurable goals, accommodations, and supports, track progress, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement in the school environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
DESE Certification as a 5–12 Special Education Teacher or Master’s in Special Education.
Experience teaching mathematics to students with disabilities, including IEP development and progress monitoring/reporting; dual certification or math expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized high school mathematics instruction to students with disabilities, adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with measurable goals, accommodations, and supports.
Track student progress and provide timely progress monitoring and reporting to inform instructional decisions.
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement and participation.
