Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site High School Spanish Teacher role located in Revere, MA. The Spanish Teacher will design and deliver engaging Spanish language instruction aligned with district curriculum and state standards. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom teaching, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback to learners. The teacher will create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs, integrates cultural competency, and promotes student participation in Spanish language and culture. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with colleagues and families, maintaining accurate records, participating in school meetings and professional development, and supporting school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong Spanish Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to support students at varying proficiency levels.
• Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that aligns with educational standards and best practices.
• Background in Education, including understanding of instructional strategies, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Relevant teaching license or certification in Spanish (or eligibility to obtain), as required by Massachusetts regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Ability to foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and work effectively with a diverse student body.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with commitment to ongoing professional learning.
