Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a school-based social worker in Roxbury, MA to support high school students in grades 9-12. This full-time contract starts in September and runs through January, with potential extension for the academic year.

You will provide individual and group counseling, assess needs, and collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to create a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Social Work license required.
• Experience in secondary schools preferred.
• Spanish bilingualism is a plus but not required.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload professionally and empathetically.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group counseling to high school students.
• Assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
• Provide crisis intervention and connect students with community resources when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal standards.
