Job summary

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to service high school students near Chicago, IL for the 2026-2027 year. The role supports 9th–12th grade students with 504s or IEPs, with a caseload of about 45 and a flexible 2-3 day work week.

The ideal candidate holds an active SLP license, has school-based experience, and can develop IEPs/504 plans while collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience with school-based SLP services preferred.
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to high school students.
• Evaluate, develop, and monitor IEP and 504 plan speech-language goals.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in eligibility and annual review meetings for assigned students.
• Adapt interventions for students in both individual and group settings.
