Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in a high school setting in Illinois. The contract position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time work with hours from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM and a manageable caseload starting around 30, possibly increasing to 60 with full-time hours.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating disorders, developing IEPs, and collaborating with staff and families.

Qualifications

  • IL state SLP license required.
  • PEL certification required.
  • CCC-SLP certification required.

Job description

This contract position is ideal for dedicated professionals looking for either full-time or part-time flexibility, with assignments running from now through late May 2026. Whether you want to maximize your hours or balance work with other commitments, this role adapts to your schedule within regular staff hours of 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM.

You’ll work with high school students, starting with a manageable caseload of around 30, which may grow up to a maximum of 60 if you opt for full-time hours. You’ll collaborate with a supportive school staff, offering speech and language services in a vibrant educational setting.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current IL state SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • CCC-SLP certification required
  • Prior experience delivering SLP services in school settings, ideally at the high school level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering student progress and success
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school students
