Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking an In-Person High School Instructor to teach SAT Math Preparation at Baruch STEP Academy. The role requires delivering high-quality math instruction to upperclassmen and providing engaging lessons within the 10:35am-12pm schedule.

Responsibilities include planning curriculum, assessing student progress, and maintaining attendance records. The position emphasizes a strong math background, prior teaching experience, and the ability to adapt lessons to diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Strong background in the subject area.
• Experience in a teaching capacity within subject area.
• Experience with designing/implementing a course curriculum.
• Prior teaching experience with high school or undergraduate students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach original course curriculum
• Evaluate student and group performance
• Provide staff with measurable results in student learning through assessments
• Monitor and maintain student attendance records
• Reassess curriculum based on student needs, interest, and understanding of material
• Other duties as assigned
