The State of Connecticut Technical High School System (CTECS) seeks a qualified School Psychologist for Howell Cheney Technical High School in Manchester, CT. This full-time, first-shift position involves conducting evaluations, counseling, and collaborating with families and school teams to support student outcomes and compliance with MTSS, IEP, and 504 procedures.

Applicants should hold the Connecticut Educator Certificate – Endorsement 070 and have experience with secondary education

Qualifications

• Connecticut Educator Certificate – Endorsement 070, School Psychologist (required)
• Experience working in secondary/high school setting preferred
• Experience with MTSS, crisis response, and transition planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational and psychological evaluations to determine eligibility and inform instructional planning.
• Interpret and communicate assessment results to students, families, and school teams.
• Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and outside agencies to support student well-being.
• Develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans and ensure compliance.
