Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of teaching experience and 3+ years in school leadership with measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of Special Education philosophy, DOE regulations, and safety standards.
• Strong planning, program development, budgeting, and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and instructional leadership for curriculum, goals, and student achievement.
• Coordinate educational, clinical, medical, and operational services for cohesive programming.
• Develop and monitor the annual operating budget and allocate resources.
• Lead student admissions, intake, IEP meetings, and program planning.
• Represent the school with families, districts, agencies, and community partners.
• Lead personnel management, hiring, evaluation, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and internal policies.
