Job summary

Qualifications

• Holds a TN teaching license in Science with endorsement codes.
• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Preference for proven TVAAS/state assessment success and data-driven instruction.
• Promotes digital content, project-based learning and inclusion practices.
• Comfort working in extended day and co-teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly, standards-based lesson plans.
• Teach a common core-based science curriculum.
• Integrate technology into lessons and plans.
• Motivate scholars toward achievement and growth.
• Meet with parents regarding performance and conduct.
• Develop scholar improvement plans and interventions.
• Collaborate with special educators in co-teaching.
• Plan with school and network teams.
• Attend required weekly professional development.
• Create and review student assessments.
• Tutor students and perform other duties as assigned.
