Grandview School District at Grandview High School seeks a paraprofessional to assist with supervision and instruction, working with individuals or small groups under a certified teacher. The role includes monitoring students across classrooms and common areas and providing essential support to the teacher.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluency in English and Spanish, and 18+ years of age.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Job related experience is desired.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent; paraprofessional requirements: associate degree or higher or 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits or state paraeducator assessment.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with monolingual Spanish-speaking students.

Responsabilidades

• Salary: $20.75- $26.43per hour (depending on experience)

What You\'ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experienceis desired.
• Minimum qualifications:Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional(Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university or have passed the state paraeducator assessment).
• Must be proficient in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with and provide instructional support to monolingual Spanish-speaking students.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
