KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School, part of the KIPP MA network, is seeking a talented Director of School Operations to lead the school’s operational functions. Reporting to the Managing Director of Operations, the DSO will shape the budgeting, facilities, food service, transportation, and data systems that support teaching and learning.

This role requires strategic vision, strong people leadership, and relentless focus on safety, compliance, and family engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School Operations Leadership & Operations Team.
• Develop and operationalize the school-wide budgeting and financial planning.
• Oversee facilities, maintenance, and campus safety.
• Manage food service, transportation, and event logistics.
• Administer student data systems and reporting.
• Direct student recruitment, enrollment, and family engagement.
• Ensure compliance with FERPA, HR policies, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with school leaders and regional teams to align operations with academic goals.
• Support teacher and student needs by providing a well-functioning operational backbone.
